Alise is a Project Architect and Director of People and Culture at Environmental Works Community Design Center. She grew up in the greater Seattle area, left for architecture school, and moved back to be closer to family and make positive contributions in the neighborhoods where she grew up. Alise believes she has a responsibility to address systemic inequities that the architecture and design professions have historically upheld. She does this through work in affordable housing, participatory design, and furthering transparency and equity within her firm, but is always looking for ways to do more/better. She is excited to contribute as Event Coordinator and connect with more members of the NOMA|nw community.
