Professional Development Chair

Role: The Professional Development Chair shall work under the direction of the Member Engagement Liaison and lead all efforts in curating and overseeing all events and initiatives aimed to elevate the professional development of the general members.

Responsibilities:

• Curate and oversee events and initiatives for general members, including but not limited to

• Mentorship Opportunities

• ARE/WELL/LEED/etc. Study Groups + Support

• Continuing Education Opportunities

• Coordinate w/ the Social chair on opportunities for events/initiatives to overlap

• Work closely w/ allied organizations for professional development opportunities

• Maintain a comprehensive calendar of all event dates and deadlines

Accountability:

• The Professional Development Chair shall report to the Membership Engagement Liaison for the acceptability of all chapter professional development events and initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Excels in time management and organization to meet deadlines

• Experienced in event planning and developing professional relationships
