Treasurer

Role: Committee Chair of the Finance/Sponsorship Committee, and carry out the duties and responsibilities prescribed in these Bylaws. 

Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain up-to-date, accurate in-full records of all financial transactions of the Chapter and regular financial reports, including, but not limited to:  

  • Annual Chapter expenses  

  • Annual Committee budgets 

  • Sponsorship funds  

  • Membership funds  

• Report to the Board at Board Meetings the Chapter’s financial status and the status of the Budget & Finance Committees' plans/actions.

• Run quarterly audits of the Chapter’s financial records  

Accountability:

• Report to the Board for the acceptability of the allocation and disbursement of funds throughout the fiscal year. 

Qualifications:

• Excels in organizational skills and maintaining up to date records

• Proactively takes initiative and works well both independently and within a team
